Amazon Game Studios and Crystal Dynamics unveiled two new Tomb Raider games at The Game Awards in Los Angeles.

Amazon Game Studios and Crystal Dynamics showcased two upcoming Tomb Raider titles, one a modern reimagining of the classic, and the other a brand new story.

The reveal came at The Game Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is being developed in partnership between Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog, reimagining the franchise’s first adventure with Unreal Engine 5 and modern design, and will arrive in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, Amazon announced.

The company said Tomb Raider: Catalyst, developed by Crystal Dynamics since 2022, sends Lara Croft across Northern India, is powered by Unreal Engine 5, and is set to launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

“Our collaboration with Amazon Game Studios has been truly transformative for these ambitious projects,” said Scot Amos, head of studio at Crystal Dynamics.

“Tomb Raider stands among gaming’s most beloved and enduring franchises, and we’re thrilled to partner with Crystal Dynamics to bring two distinct Lara Croft adventures to players worldwide,” said Christoph Hartmann, vice president of Amazon Game Studios.

Both games will feature actress Alix Wilton Regan as the voice of Lara Croft, the company noted.
