Digitimes reports the tech giant will overhaul the Watch Ultra 4 with a full redesign and significant sensing improvements that market watchers say could lift shipments and drive large sensor orders to Taiwan-Asia Semiconductor.
Apple will give the Watch Ultra 4 a full redesign and significant upgrades to its sensing functions, Digitimes reported.
Market watchers in the report expect the refresh could lift shipments 20-30% over last year and said Taiwan-Asia Semiconductor (TASC), Apple’s exclusive sensor supplier, is likely to receive large-volume orders.

"The 2H26 high-end Apple Watch refresh will bring a significant upgrade to sensing functions alongside a full redesign," Siu Han wrote.
The report says those orders could begin as early as July and that the update accompanies broader industry chatter about an expanded Ultra family, including a rumored iPhone Ultra, MacBook Ultra, AirPods Ultra and a Mac Studio with M5 Ultra.
