The app is now available for download on Arm-based Windows 11 personal computers.
The Xbox app is now available on Arm-based Windows 11 PCs, delivering the same app experience previously on other Windows devices.
The company said more than 85% of the Game Pass catalog is compatible with Arm-based Windows 11 PCs and players can download titles from the Xbox PC app game catalog. For titles not yet supported to run locally, Xbox Cloud Gaming remains an option while compatibility is expanded, the company added.
The company said Prism, the emulator that runs x86/x64 software on Arm, now supports AVX and AVX2 instruction sets to broaden compatibility for modern games. Epic Anti-Cheat support also enables titles on Arm-based Windows 11 PCs, including Gears of War: Reloaded and Fortnite, the company said.
